The City of Vinton is taking applications for appointments to various city boards and commissions. Anyone that is at least 18 years old may apply. The length of terms varies and will begin immediately. The appointments are unpaid positions. Appointments are made by the Mayor and/or City Council.

* Board of Adjustments & Appeals: 2 vacancies
* Electric/Telelcommunications Board of Trustees: 1 vacancy
* Planning & Zoning Commission: 1 vacancy
