Government : Benton County Supervisor Minutes 12/30/25

The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with Supervisors Seeman, Tippett and Volz present. Chairman Seeman called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. at the Benton County Service Center. Members of the public are invited to join in during open session or watch the livestream at https://www.youtube.com/bentoncountyiowa. Full Resolutions will be available in the Auditor’s office and at: www.bentoncountyia.gov

Volz moved/Tippett seconded: To approve the Agenda. Tippett, Seeman and Volz voting aye. Motion carried.

Tippett moved/Volz seconded: To approve the minutes from Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Tippett, Seeman and Volz voting aye. Motion carried.

Tippett moved/Volz second: To approve the following Emergency Medical Services Trust Fund Claims numbered 256095 through 256099 for the following

North Benton Ambulance-$80,000.00

Master Medical Equipment-$20,264.00

Master Medical Equipment-$1,527.15

Urbana Polk Township Fire Department-$695.96

Urbana Polk Township Fire Department-$276.76

Garrison First Responders-$84.09

Belle Plaine Fire Area Ambulance-$46,319.46 for a total of $149,167.42. Tippett, Seeman and Volz voting aye. Motion carried.

Board briefly discussed board appointments that will be done this coming Friday, January 2, 2026. They also discussed how to track for Sheriff building maintenance on the outside of the Jail.

Volz moved/Tippett seconded: To adjourn meeting at 9:28 a.m. Tippett, Seeman and Volz voting aye. Motion carried.
