Government : Benton County Board of Supervisor Meeting Minutes 2/9/26

The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with Supervisors Seeman and Volz present, Tippett was absent. Chairman Seeman called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. at the Benton County Service Center. Members of the public are invited to join in during open session or watch the livestream at https://www.youtube.com/bentoncountyiowa. Full Resolutions will be available in the Auditor’s office and at: www.bentoncountyia.gov

Volz moved/Tippett seconded: To approve the agenda. Tippett, Seeman and Volz voting aye. Motion carried.

Eric Schares, Weed Commissioner presented the Iowa Roadside Management report and opened up discussion for questions and comments.

The Board of Supervisors and Benton County Conservation Board participated in FY 27 Budget and future planning. No action by the County Supervisors.

Tippett moved/Volz seconded: To adjourn meeting at 7:18 p.m. Tippett, Seeman and Volz voting aye. Motion carried.
