Deputies handled 4 accidents, issued 13 citations and 21 written warnings, and responded to 184 calls for service.

From the Buchanan County Sheriff's Office Media Release:

On Thursday, April 09, 2026 at approximately 5:10 pm, Buchanan County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Melody Renee Davis, 62, and Jonathan Mark Davis, 61, both of Brandon. Both was charged with:

- Drug Tax Stamp Violation (class D felony)

- first offense Possession of Controlled Substance

- Marijuana (serious misdemeanor)

- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor)

They were held on bond at the Buchanan County Jail. This arrest stems from a search warrant in the 1600 block of 290th Street on April 04.
