LIFESERVE SUPPORTS AREAS IMPACTED BY HURRICANE MILTON

LifeServe Blood Center has sent more than 250 red cells and platelets to the areas being impacted by Hurricane Milton. The blood supply in the hurricane zone is already suffering due to Hurricane Helene that made landfall in late September, lower blood donor turnout and active evacuations ahead of the current storm. LifeServe is encouraging eligible donors to come out and give the gift of life to help recoup the donations that have been sent and to ensure a strong community blood supply is available.
