BT April 7, 2021, 1:57 pm Sorry if I sound so negative but the streets and Vinton are atrocious! I live on third Street and there are no sidewalks. And most of the roads in town are nearly undrivable because of all the bumps. Most of them do not have handicap accessibility at the end of the sidewalks. I really hope that this is a city wide project!
SG April 9, 2021, 10:40 am Fourth Street going west from C Avenue to the HWY. 218 intersection needs to be the next street to be torn up. That street is pathetic, and it's one of busiest in town. Vinton needs to step it up with their street replacement projects.
JZ April 16, 2021, 11:06 am Sidewalks are a good investment too. They build a sense of community, empower our children, provide free accessibility, improve our health and help preserve our environment.

Editor's Note: These are up to the homeowner to replace/repair. There is a program at city hall to help a little with the cost.
