Annabelle Newton

My name is Annabelle Newton, and I am the daughter of Chad and Kim Newton, and have one sister Sophia (12). I am a sophomore at the Vinton-Shellsburg High School where I am involved in Track, Cross Country, Student Senate, and FFA. I have served the Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Chapter as Co-Reporter and will be serving it as President this upcoming school year. I have also done a variety of contests in FFA, including Conduct of Meetings, Parliamentary Procedure, and Ag Communications. Outside of school, I am a part of the Jackson Better Farmers 4H Club, where I am currently serving as President, and have served as Treasurer and Vice President in the past. Within 4H, I have shown swine and rabbits for the past 7 years. I am also a part of the Benton County Youth Council. I've been on Honor Roll for my two years of high school, received varsity letters in my sports, and gotten the VSHS Academic Achievement Award. After high school, I plan to attend a 4-year school.
