Emma Wiley

My name is Emma Jo Wiley. I am the daughter of Todd and Denise Wiley and sister to Drew, Isaac, and Josh Wiley. We live on a family farm in northeast Benton County. I will be graduating from Vinton Shellsburg High School in May and plan to attend DMACC in Ankeny this fall, pursuing an AAS degree in Business. My community involvement includes being a member of the Harrison Willing Workers 4-H club for 9 years, as well as being an active member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Vinton where I have been involved in youth group, Sunday morning services, and Wednesday night meals. During my high school career, I have been involved in basketball and track for 2 years, Operation Backpack for 2 years, softball for I year, and am currently serving on our School Improvement Advisory Committee. I have also been heavily involved in the Vinton Shellsburg FFA chapter for the past 4 years, holding chapter omces including Officer at Large, Vice President, and President. I have chaired many local committees and have also been involved on 1 state committee. Currently, I am employed at Flowers by Nature's Corner in Vinton where I have the wonderful opportunity to learn and pursue my passion for the floral industry.
