News Virginia Gay Hospital Scholarship Recipients Named

Congratulations to Justin Bartz, Christina Harrelson, Stevi Salzmann and Kylee Schwan, 2021 Virginia Gay Hospital Jeanette Miller Employee Scholarship recipients.

The Jeanette M. Miller Scholarship supports education in a nursing career. In 2014, Jeanette M. Miller made a significant impact by donating funds from her estate to support nursing scholarships for graduating high school students in our community and continuing education of the nursing staff of VGH. Her gift and vision enhance the ability to attract and retain excellent nursing staff.

Justin is a CNA in Acute Care Med-Surg/ER, Christina is a CNA in Long-Term Care, Stevi is an LPN in Acute Care and Kylee is a PST in Acute Care. All recipients have a concern for the well-being of others and pursuing a nursing career. We celebrate their future aspirations and accomplishments.
