On December 8th, the Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Chapter wrapped up the yearly FFA Fruit Sales. The members arrived eager to unload and sort fruit throughout the day. The FFA Officer Team and the Ag Business class spent the day in the animal learning lab working together to get all of the fruit quality checked and sorted so that orders could start to be sorted and set out for members to pick up and deliver in a timely manner.

Members were excited to announce that as a chapter they sold $44,337 in fruit! The chapter worked extremely hard this year to exceed their goal of $35,000 and with the top five sellers all selling over $2,000 individually and many meeting their individual and class goals. The top three sellers include, in first Will McKenna, second Ben Buhr, and third Andrew Pingenot. A big Thank You goes to the Vinton Fareway, Edgewood Locker, and Minntex for working with the Ag Business class to provide quality products to customers in the community. In addition, the chapter greatly appreciates the ongoing community support for the fundraiser.
