Tuesday night in Vinton got a bit dicey with the storms passing through the area. Hail hit Vinton in all kinds of sizes.
In the area next to the middle school there was marble-sized hail while just a few blocks north it was golf ball sized. In other parts of town, there were quarter-sized pieces landing.
