After 30 years of being away from his hobby of photography, Tony Bopp is hoping to find others who can teach him more about the topic.

For that reason, he is hoping to start an informal photography club in Vinton. Bopp plans to be at the Fifth Street Koffee Haus at 10 a.m.on Saturday, June 11, and welcomes other camera lovers to join him.

Bopp has been a familiar face in another of the fine arts as an actor and director of ACT 1 productions for the past several years.

"One of the first things I re-learned is that there is so much to learn from others, whether they have years of experience or even just weeks," said Bopp. "I wanted to create a camera club here in Vinton to reach out to fellow shutterbugs, exchange ideas, beautiful places, talk equipment, and just enjoy a good cup of coffee and a scone. It's going to be a pretty informal club, but I think it would be a lot of fun to go out as a group to different areas and events, saving little moments of time and expanding our skills and our views of the world around us."

For more information, see the Camera Club page on Facebook HERE. Bopp also shares photos with his friends via Facebook, and has a My Visual Journey page HERE.
