(NHDD) WHAT IS IT?

NHDD is a day that was founded in 2008 by a healthcare lawyer, Nathan Kottkamp. This was founded to provide clear, concise, and consistent medical information for one's healthcare decision-making. This is a day that exists for advancing our care plans and empowering the public and physicians to know the importance of the care plans.

NHDD is to encourage patients to express what they wish to happen with their own health and to have providers/agencies/facilities respect the wishes of all patients no matter what their choices may be.

Across the country healthcare facilities will participate in the day as the flagship venues for public engagement. We ask that you please take the day to evaluate your care plans and express your needs and wishes.
