Thursday night's council meeting began with the swearing in of Wesley Recker (pronounced Raker) to the 4th Ward council seat. Recker takes the seat that was vacated by Bethany Gates.  

Also in attendance were Recker's wife Amanda and their three children Lincoln, Lowen and Livie.
