On Wednesday, April 24th members of the Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Chapter traveled to Calmar for the annual District Ag Mechanics Career Development Event.

Two teams of three were able to compete including Dallas Fairbanks, Evan Lopata, Jacob Dudley, Andrew Allsup, Ben McGowan, and Wes McKenna. These students used their skills to stand out in the Northeast District by being tough competitors.

Andrew Allsup placed 4th individually while Jacob Dudley placed 9th. Team 1 received a 2nd Place ranking while Team 2 received 5th Place.
