Lawrence Gene Mossman, age 71, passed at his home in Blairstown, Iowa on January 25, 2022, with his wife Sandra Sue Mossman by his side.

The EMS and Marengo Police Department gentlemen came with Sandra's call for their help. They tried several minutes to revive Lawrence but were unable to do so. Their help and being there was so much appreciated by Sandra and her family, knowing that they tried so hard to revive him. He is now at peace, also being an EMT, he would have known how hard they tried.

Private family memorial services will be held.

Lawrence and Sandra were married on July 21, 1990, at the First Presbyterian Church in Iowa City, Iowa.

He left behind his three daughters, Tiffany, Amber, and Victoria. and stepchildren, Timothy A. (Connie) McMillan and their children, Mitchell E. (Dawn) McMillan, and their children, Matthew D. McMillan, (and daughter), Angela (John) Durk and family.

He graduated from Ellsworth Junior College. He went on with his education and became a Certified Quality Auditor.

He was a Quality Analyst Auditor for WABTEC Digital Electronics, in office in Cedar Rapids, IA. He worked with people all over the world, dealing with railway electronics in his quality profession. He was so proud of his company and that he got to deal with people all over the world with his quality expertise. He so loved his work.

He also worked as a volunteer for the worldwide ASQ Organization and in that capacity, he worked with student branches all over the world. He was privileged to meet college kids from nearly every country and still managed to stay in contact with many of them. He helped all those he came in contact with. He showed them we are one people and working together makes it so!

He was preceded in death by his parent, Maxine and Lawrence, and his mother-in-law Hildreth Quire.

He will be missed by all who knew him.
