Debra Ann Phelps

Debra Ann Phelps, 52, died Saturday, October 8, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM, Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E 6th St) Vinton with Pastor Brian Channel officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until service time on Thursday. Interment will be held at Bear Creek Cemetery, Vinton.

Debra was born May 5, 1970 in Iowa City to Danny and Barbara (Wolf) Phelps. She graduated from Vinton High School in 1990. She worked as a nurse for most of her life. She was recently employed at Sunrise Hill Care & Rehab Center in Traer. Debra enjoyed cross-stitching, completing puzzles, watching television, and listening to country music.

Debra is survived by her siblings, Danny Phelps Jr. of Vinton, Dianna Miller of Cameron, Texas, Jamie Bumgartner of Waterloo; nephews, Ricky Miller of Cameron Texas, Cory Miller of Cameron, Texas, and Amber Webb of Cameron, Texas; significant other, John Growth of Vinton, and a special friend Kenneth Sheffield of Cameron, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
