Marcus W. Greenlee

Marcus W. Greenlee, 72, died Saturday, March 18, 2023, peacefully at home.

Marcus was born March 9th, 1951. He attended Northeast Missouri State University and received a bachelor's degree. He worked at Benton County for 47 years as the Environmental Health and Land Use Administrator. Marc enjoyed spending time with his family and enjoyed the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife Barbara; his children Chris (Kourtney) Boddicker, Carrie Boddicker, Jessica (Desi) Druschel, and Libby (Pat) Lovell; his grandchildren Makayla and Kolton Boddicker, Jace and Halle Druschel, and Jachob Roster; his brothers Dennis (Donna) Greenlee and Robert Greenlee; and his sister Mary (John) Tilton.

He was proceeded in death by his parents John (Marian Radeke) Greenlee and sister Linda Abernathy.

A private family interment will take place at a later date.

JM March 21, 2023, 1:19 pm Iam sorry for your loss. I was a foster parent 18 years. I live in the country and had to have my well checked every year. Mark was always the one who came. He was always very friendly and I could tell he liked his job. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed.

LP March 21, 2023, 4:47 pm When our water needed tested we knew to contact Marc. It has been many years since we moved away and didn’t need to call but he will be remembered as a soft spoken, kind man always had a smile to greet you with. May he Rest in Peace.
