Obituaries : Judith Ann “Judy” (Baum) Wellner

Judith Ann "Judy" (Baum) Wellner, age 80, of Lenoir City, Tennessee, formerly of Vinton, Iowa passed away peacefully on November 30, 2023.
Judy is survived by her husband of 59 years, Richard "Rich" Wellner; children, Deanne Benorden (Larry) of Lenoir City, TN, Roxanne Rolland (Brian) of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, Richard Wellner Jr. of Knoxville, TN, Ryan Wellner of Lenoir City, TN, Blaine Wellner (Bethany) of Knoxville, TN; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Judy was born October 22, 1943, in Vinton, IA, the daughter of Harold Dean Baum and Marjorie Joyce (Davin) Baum. She was a 1962 graduate of La Porte City High School.
On July 21, 1964, Judy and Rich were united in marriage and started raising their family together. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family with special memories shared on the water either at the lake, pool or beach. Judy was always one to enjoy dessert first, DQ and her bowl of Wheaties.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Dale Baum and Ronald Dean Baum and great grandson, Knox Palmer. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 17th from 1:00-4:00 pm CST at The Local in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
