November 27, 1953 – March 24, 2026

Diane Losenicky, 72, passed away Tuesday, March 24th after a long battle with cancer. She was born on November 27, 1953, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania — on her mother’s 27th birthday.

Diane graduated from Middletown Area High School in 1971. In August of 1977, she relocated to Iowa and met Robert “Joe” Losenicky. They later married on February 14, 1979.

Diane is survived by her husband, Joe; and their three sons: Cory Losenicky (Kristen Taglia), Travis Losenicky (Jennifer), and Jacob Losenicky (Kristin). She loved her “grandbabies” Tyler, Shaw, Brynn, Brandon, and Noah. They were among her greatest joys in life.

She is also survived by her brother, Keith Williams and his wife, Kittie Williams, Special Aunt Teresa and husband Dale Tharp.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Bernadine (Sturm) and Arlie Williams; her brothers,

Jim and Gary Williams — Gary, in particular, held a special place in her heart and was deeply beloved by her — as well as many aunts and uncles.

Diane had a quiet appreciation for simple pleasures. She loved tending to flowers, fishing, going for car rides, and any time spent with her family. An animal lover at heart, she cherished her pets and the companionship they brought. Those who knew her will remember her warmth and the care she gave to the people she loved.

Diane’s family would like to give a special thanks to St. Croix Hospice and the Keystone Care Center for the amazing care and support received.

Per Diane’s wishes a private family burial will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

IK March 26, 2026, 5:11 pm To the entire family of Diane, we extend our sympathy. Diane was a very sweet lady and we had love of our pets in common. I didn't see her often, but when I did she was always very friendly. Such a nice lady.
