Dear Editor:

Beware of people who are oblivious to the obvious. People who lose an election, and believe they won. Not based on evidence. But based on what they "feel."

I am a Conservative. Many Republicans today delude themselves by calling me a RINO (Republican In Name Only). True Conservatives believe in the Constitution, Democracy, and the rule of law. Donald Trump only believes in himself. Every other value, or person, is expendable. Don't believe me? Pay attention when he speaks. Then watch what he does. Do you really believe if you are loyal to him, you are "special?" If that pitch sounds like a cult, it's because it is. Today there are even people in some churches whose words and deeds imitate Donald more than they do Jesus. Like Donald, they mistake bluster for courage. They need to feel like they are brave. But they hate real courage. Remember when Donald referred to John McCain as a loser because he had been captured when his jet was shot down in Vietnam? Donald hated McCain for possessing something Donald lacks completely: character. When McCain was offered an early release because his father was an Admiral, he declined because it violated the military code of being released in order of capture. Can you imagine Donald turning down that deal? You can't. Donald is incapable of putting anyone, or any ideal, above himself. To not see that, you might be a bright person. But you have surrendered your common sense.

Listen to him talking code to encourage cowards to make anonymous threats, against prosecutors, judges, witnesses, poll workers, political opponents, journalists, or anyone else he feels threatened by. Republicans stuck on Trump (the real RINO's) are stuck on stupid. We'll soon learn if the Party is too.

SG March 4, 2024, 6:23 pm Wow. Trump is speaking "code?" Really? You think he's that sneaky and subtle?
What code is Biden speaking? At least it sounds like it with all the gibberish he puts out in his speeches. It must be something that says, "I'm in PERFECT health."
All I need to see are the prices at the grocery store and gas station. If there someone sending out code, that's the only message I'm getting.
GB March 4, 2024, 9:16 pm Like many people, I do not like some of the things Trump says. Yet the actions and inaction of Biden is something that matters much more than words. I know the policies Trump will bring back to this country are far superior and healthier for America than the Clown we have had in Biden. I won't be voting for President based on rather or not I like the person or not but what their policies will bring to the table.
Biden is the most corrupt and compromised President to ever occupy the Whitehouse. He and his Justice Department has weaponized the entire justice system. That's the kind of garbage you see in Russia or a third world country. That should never happen in America and we could all learn from the 9 to 0 ruling today by the Supreme Court to allow Trump to stay on the ballot in each state.
We The People won today with the Supreme Court.
DE March 4, 2024, 11:00 pm You can't talk to these people.

Pre-impeachment hearings about Biden: "Weeellll, I have no evidence but we really should look into imeachinging him."

Impeachment hearings about Biden: "Weeeelll..." - primary witness arrested for perjury, etc.

'Biden crime family'.

Meanwhile, 91 indictments of Trump, convictions, etc. everyone connected to him takes a plea deal, a GUILTY plea deal, or is just simply convicted.

'The justice department is weaponized against Trump!'

No... that's a disconnect with reality on par with saying men can become women & vice versa

KP March 7, 2024, 2:51 pm A Trump win would be a dictatorship, he has already even said that. Only the dumb will still vote for him. a Trump win would be a dictatorship, he has already even said that. Only the dumb will still vote for him. The dumb that vote for him are the reason Hitler came to power.
GB March 9, 2024, 9:45 am KP,
clearly you lack any basic understanding of Hitler or how the Nazi party operated under Facisim. It is really comparable to how Biden and his "handlers" have operated our government under this administration. Labeling political opponents as the enemy and the weaponization of the Justice Department where it protects the "Biden Crime Family" and prosecutes a political opponent is a corrupt system of justice. The very definition of a crime family where kickbacks and shakedowns for money with money laundering and businesses that do no real business except for moving and concealing money and its sources exactly describes the Biden Crime Family. To ignore that is ignorant.
Personally, I wish DeSantis had stayed in the race. Yet if my vote came down to anyone other than Biden, my vote would go to the other person even if that other choice was a goat.
The radical Democrats boosted the support for Trump and hurt the other Republicans running for President through their endless corrupt policies of prosecution against Trump. Most Americans do not support this two-tier system of justice an anyone and they gave Trump a lot of support by pushing their corrupt system of justice.

KP, I read the comment you posted, I must say I feel dumber for doing so.
DC March 15, 2024, 9:08 am When I read "speaking in codes" the first thing I thought of was how sorry I feel for the interpreter for the deaf when Biden tries to give a speech.

I'd definitely vote for someone who is too old and frail to be charged with a crime, but supposedly competent enough to lead this country. But then, he's not actually running anything, Obama and Biden's handlers are in charge.
