Opinion : Letter to the Editor: January 6 Pardons

Dear Editor,

January 6 Pardons: Pardons were issued to 1500 involved in Jan 6 attack on the US Capital.  Sentences were commuted for 14 others.  Included were 169 people who pled guilty to assaulting police officers.  While considering where to draw the line, Trump is reported to have declared “F* it!  Release ‘em all.”

Conclusion: Declare “Back the Blue” only when votes are needed, otherwise back to the golf course.
