I fail to see how this shutdown can be a plus for Democrats when a volunteer donated millions to pay our soldiers wages. It is time to admit your failings. You are on the wrong side and have been there for a long time.

ME October 31, 2025, 11:47 am As we've seen every time Congressional MAGAts don't get their way, it takes nothing to eliminate the filibuster and reduce Senate action to a simple majority vote. In days of old, when they weren't bending over... the knee to their cultleader, they'd be horseradish, some individual tit-for-tat to get those 7 votes, and maybe a few more to replace any votes by hardliners that don't want to give and take. But that takes maturity and country before party ethics.

One really has to wonder why they haven't. Child be get don't want full responsibility when this budget explodes.

Wrong as usual, the house did its job and passed the CR. It's now up to the Senate. It takes 70 votes, the Republicans only number 53. Seven more votes are needed-- that means 7 more votes. Those votes must come from Democrats. You need a civics lesson

I'm glad the Den's are standing up for people who stand to lose their affordable health care to give more tax breaks to billionaires! Actually, John, you are on the wrong side of most issues and, for some reason still support a convicted felon and sex abuser. (Possible a pedophile too). You must be proud!
