Viking cross country finishes sixth at the VS Invitational

VINTON - The Vinton-Shellsburg Viking varsity cross country team had their home meet on Sept. 21 and finished sixth out of 10 teams. The feature runner in the boys race for the Vikings was Elijah Blix, who got fifth place with a time of 18:16.1.

Aldin Swanson finished in 15th with a time of 19:07.0, Merritt Bodeker ran a 19:13.7, Eli Page ran a 19:53.0, Ian Allsup ran a 19:56.3, Reese Truax ran a 20:17.3, and sophomore Max Janssen ran a 22:52.8.
