Kale Schulte, a Vinton-Shellsburg graduate, has been honored for his contributions to the Central College men's soccer team in the fall of 2022. A freshman midfielder, Schulte received his first varsity letter. His 2022 Stats include 13 games played, 3 shots, 1 shot on goal. Complete stats can be seen HERE.

Coach Garry Laidlaw awarded 25 varsity letters after his squad finished 3-11-2 overall and 2-5-1 in the American Rivers Conference.

Junior goalkeeper John Foster (Lee's Summit, Mo., North HS) was chosen as the team's Most Valuable Player honor.

Fifth-year senior midfielder Jake Dzarnowski (senior, Wheaton, Ill., North HS) was awarded the team's Most Inspirational Player Award.

Midfielder Evan Hackett (sophomore, Tempe, Ariz., Tempe Preparatory Academy) earned the team's Most Improved Player Award and freshman defender Spencer Taylor (Norwalk) was named the team's Newcomer of the Year. Dzarnowski, Foster and Michael Handel (senior, defender, Libertyville, Carmel Catholic HS) served as team captains.
