For the second time this season, the Sprint Invaders are set to take on the quarter-mile Benton County Speedway during the Labor Day Spectacular Sunday, September 3.

Cody Wehrle of Burlington topped a 21 car field of 360 Sprints at The Bullring during the first appearance by the Sprint Invaders this season on July 2. Another strong turnout is expected for Sunday ¢â‚¬â„¢s event.

The Labor Day weekend show will also feature INEX Legends battling for a $2,500 winner ¢â‚¬â„¢s share in the Midwest Dirt Shootout, billed as the highest paying Legends car race in the country.

Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts, American Iron Racing Series and Micro Mods will also be in action September 3.

Pit gate and grandstand both open at 3:30 p.m., with hot laps at 5:30 and racing to follow.

Grandstand admission is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and veterans, and $5 for ages 6-14. Kids ages five and under will be admitted free if accompanying a paid adult.

Pit passes are $30.
