Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet. Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. Please call us to cancel or order a Home Delivered Meal by 10:00 AM daily! We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. On Tuesday, June 1st, the activity of the day was Surprise Bingo with the games being handpicked by Delane Kalina. The caller was Evelyn Greenwood. Game one was a space capsule and Joy Baker won a flashlight and cards. Game two was a razor blade and Jacquie Winkler won a memo pad and music cd. Game three was a happy face and Faye Goodell won wash cloths. Game four was a baseball and Marge Goodell won a bath sponge. Fern Lewis won a meal ticket on game five with blackout. On Wednesday, June 2nd, we played 10-Cent Bingo with Linda handpicking the games. The volunteer caller was Linda Lough. Game one was hard way with Elsie Knaack winning. Game two was two hard ways with Greta Geiken winning. Game three was 3 hard ways with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Game four was four hard ways with Jeanette Blazicek winning. Fern Lewis won game five with blackout. On Thursday, June 3rd, everyone enjoyed the music by Larry Holst. On Friday, June 4th, there were 7 tables of 500 played. Burdell Staab won 1st place with 4,040 points. Wilma Loutsch won 2nd place with 3,670 points. Bill Milne won 3rd place with 3,500 points. HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were provided by the card club. On Monday, June 7th, there were 4 tables of Pepper Cards played. Clete Friedman won 1st place with 326 points. Esther Novotny won 2nd place with 281 points. Bill Milne won 3rd place with 260 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by Clete Friedman and the card club. Beverages were provided by HACAP. On Tuesday, June 8th, we celebrated the June birthdays. Those having birthdays in June were June Salerno, Faye Goodell, Joe Schott, Bob Bettinger, Geraldine Healy, Burge Smallridge, Wayne Neve, Lee Laton, and Donna Sutton. There were 23 guests of the celebrants. Geraldine Healy won the door prize of a free meal. Madelyn Duncklee provided the afternoon entertainment. On Wednesday, June 9th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. The caller was Luanne Dvorak and the games were handpicked by Mae Wilhelmi. Game one was a slant seven with June Salerno winning. Game two was wild number with June Salerno and Jacquie Winkler winning. Game three was a 9-pack with June Salerno and Ruth Wieditz winning. Game four was a crazy “T” with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Ruth Wieditz won Blackout on game five. On Thursday, June 10th, we welcomed Lorraine Stempfle as the guest of Orville Ellingson. The activity was 10-Cent Bingo with the games being handpicked by June Salerno. The bingo caller was Vickie Holst. Game one was frame the card with Fern Lewis winning. Game two was frame the free with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game three was 3 bingos any way and won by Jeanette Blazicek. Game four was wild number 3 bingos and Jacquie Winkler was the winner. Game five was blackout with June Salerno winning. On Friday, June 11th, there were 6 tables of 500 played. Merle Roth won 1st place with 3,680 points. Don Burmeister won 2nd place with 3,250 points.
