Everyone is WELCOME!
Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $3.25 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $4.25 for their meal.
If you are just coming for the activity, the suggested contribution is $1.00.
Carryout meals are available.
We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.50/meal if you are 60 or older. For those under age 60, the suggested contribution is $4.25 for home delivered meals. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Please call by 10:00 AM daily to cancel a Home Delivered Meal.

Please help us recruit more people to join the 4th St Diner Meal program. All contributions are used toward the continued operations of the meal site.
Each month the 4th St Diner has a special day set aside to celebrate birthdays for that month. It is always scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone having a birthday for that particular month is encouraged to make a reservation for themselves and any guests they would like to celebrate with. The names of all birthday celebrants who have made a reservation for the Birthday Table are entered into the door prize drawing.
We currently have two door prizes scheduled for each month. The first is $5 in Vinton Unlimited Value Dollars generously donated by Vinton Unlimited. The second is a gift certificate for a free 4th Street Diner meal. Reservations for the Birthday Dinner table can be made by calling 472-4761.
Reservations need to be made by 10:00 AM on the day of the celebration.

On Tuesday, January 21st, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Maureen Haisman was the volunteer caller. The games were handpicked by Orville Ellingson. Game one was the Letter “T” with Elsie Knaack winning. Game two was One Straight with Elsie Knaack winning. Game three was Wild Number Three Bingos with JoAnn Roster as the winner. Game four was a Baseball with Elsie Knaack winning. Hazel Eastwood won with a Blackout on game five.
On Wednesday, January 22nd, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. The games were handpicked by John Isbell. Game one was Wild Number Three Bingos Hard Way with Elsie Knaack winning. Game two was a Staircase with Viola Calvert winning. Game three a Crazy “T” with Marion Isbell winning. Game four was Around the Free and Four Corners with Oma Geiger as the winner. Oma Geiger won game five with a Blackout.
On Friday, January 24th, the afternoon activity was a 500 Card Party. Keith Weise won 1st place with 3,380 points. Leroy Weiser won 2nd place with 2,880 points. LaVonne Henkle won 3rd place with 2,570 points. After the games, refreshments were served by the card club. HACAP provided the beverages.
On Monday, January 27th, the afternoon activity included games of Pepper. After the games, refreshments were served by Card Club. Beverage were provided by HACAP. On Tuesday, January 28th, Bob Hauser provided the afternoon musical entertainment.
On Wednesday, January 29th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Ruth Wieditz handpicked the games. Game one was BNO with George Eckhart winning. Game two was a 12-Pack with Ruth Wieditz as the winner. Game three was Four Postage Stamps with JoAnn Roster winning. Game four was Wild Number Three Bingos with Elsie Knaack winning. Viola Calvert won game five with Blackout.
On Thursday, January 30th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by JoAnn Roster. Game one was Frame the Card with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game two was a “7” with Elsie Knaack and JoAnn Roster winning. Game three was the Letter “L” with JoAnn Roster winning. Game four was Wild Number Three Bingos with Ruth Wieditz winning. Orville Ellingson won game five with Blackout.
On Friday, January 31st, games of 500 cards were played. LaVonne Henkle won 1st place with 3,040 points. Lois Romman won 2nd place with 2,930 points. Third place went to Keith Weise with 2,880 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club. HACAP provided the beverages.
On Monday, February 3rd, games of Pepper were played. Bud Barr won 1st place with 280 points. Don Selken won 2nd place with 275 points. Geri Shaffer won 3rd place with 256 points. After the games, refreshments were served by Card Club. Don Selken brought treats to share for his birthday and Hazel Eastwood brought cookies. HACAP provided the beverages.
On Tuesday, February 4th, the afternoon activity was Surprise Bingo. Maureen Haisman was the volunteer caller. Game one was Frosting on a 3 Layer Cake with Ruth Wieditz winning a recipe book. Game two was B+O with Norma Ellis winning perfume. Game three was One Hardway Four Corners with Viola Calvert winning a bookmark. Game four was the Letter “X” with Orville Ellingson winning a meal ticket. Elsie Knaack won a bag on game five with Blackout.
On Thursday, February 6th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Amanda Herron was the volunteer caller. George Eckhart handpicked the games. Game one was a 9-Pack with Lorraine Fix winning. Game two was the Letter “M” with George Eckhart winning. Game three was Stair Steps with Elsie Knaack winning. Game four was Three Bingos with Wild Number and George Eckhart was the winner. Orville Ellingson was the winner of game five with Blackout.
On Friday, February 7th, the afternoon activity was games of Pepper. Lois Romman won 1st place with 3,070 points. Leroy Weiser won 2nd place with 2,750 points. Marlys Finzen won 3rd place with 2,300 points.
