Business : US Bank makes donation to \'Celebrate the Cedar River\' project

Ann and Bob Harrison along with Brian Parr accept a $2,500.00 check from Jon Kremer Market President of U.S. Bank Vinton.

The check is a grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation to assist with the “Celebrate the Cedar River” project.

This project involved building a pavilion at Celebration Park which is nearing completion. The next step will be to add a twenty foot lithograph map on aluminum panels of the Cedar River in Benton County.

Names of historical places on the river will be posted on the panels including original bridges and cabins for local settlements in Benton County. There will also be educational material, steamboat history, animals and other relics on the history of the Cedar River.
