Business : The Mall is open as Ender continues work on building

The Mall is open now, while work continues on the building.

The Mall @ RJ Ender Computers is open now, although RJ continues to work on the building, making room for more businesses to share their unique items.

"We are trying to offer niche items that are not found anywhere else in the area," says Ender.

The RJ Ender computer business will continue to operate in the building at 511 First Avenue, says Rich Ender.

"We just didn't need all that space," he explains.

The Mall will allow area residents and businesses to lease space. So far, a variety of businesses have signed up, offering things from yarn to Vinton antiques (including some old VHS team spirit items) to quilts to home decor.

Ender is working on an outdoor-themed room in the back of the building, which he hopes will serve as a place where fishing lures and other items will be displayed.

The Mall is open now, although Ender and his partner Kim Massman plan a grand opening celebration when it is finished.
