Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through 
Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for 
individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse 
(regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals 
who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for 
their meal. Carryout meals are available. Please call us 
to cancel or order a Home Delivered Meal by 10:00 AM 
daily! We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and 
Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is 
$3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have 
nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery 
is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for 
more information about services or to reserve a table for 
groups of 3 or more.

EATS A MEAL AT THE SITE DURING MEAL SERVICE TIMES.

The meal on Sunday, December 12th, Roast Turkey, Mashed 
Potatoes/Gravy, Spinach, Peaches, Custard, WW Bread, Milk.

On Monday, October 25th, we welcomed the Urbana Card Club 
as our guests. The activity of the day was a Pepper Card 
Party with 4 tables of players. Irene Geiger won 1st 
place with 317 points. Bud Barr took 2nd place with 292 
points. Nellie Cobb won 3rd place with 289 points. 
After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card 
Club and HACAP provided the beverages.

On Tuesday, October 26th, the Don Anders Band provided the 
afternoon entertainment.

On Wednesday, October 27th, the activity of the day was 
10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked were Fern Lewis. 
The volunteer bingo caller was Wendy Pennington. Game 
one was frame the card with Marge Goodell winning. Game 
two was a nine pack with Fern Lewis as the winner. Game 
three was wild number with 3 bingos and Mae Wilhelmi was 
the winner. Game four was frame the free spot and four 
corners with Evelyn Greenwood winning. Marge Goodell won 
game five with blackout.

On Thursday, October 28th, the activity of the day was 
10-Cent Bingo. Ruth Wieditz handpicked the games. Vickie 
Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was a stairstep 
with JoAnn Roster winning. Game two was a space capsule 
with Fern Lewis winning. Game three was a twelve pack 
with JoAnn Roster winning. Game four was wild number 3 
bingos with Delane Kalina winning. Faye Goodell won game 
five with a blackout.

On Friday, October 29th, the activity was a 500 card party 
with 7 tables of players. Theresa Wieser won 1st place 
with 3,630 points. Nellie Cobb won 2nd place with 3,480 
points. Marlys Finzen won 3rd place with 2,920 points. 
HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were 
provided by the card club.
