Business : Betterton plans to move practice to new building on 13th Street

The new facility will have 5 exam rooms and much more space than the current building.

During the Vinton Unlimited After 5 event Friday evening, Matt Betterton and his staff at Betterton Family Chirpractic displayed the architect’s drawings for their new building.

Work will begin in the spring at the new site, on West 13th Street, near Theisen’s and the First Christian Church.

Matt said the building should be open by next fall. There will be five exam rooms, two massage rooms, an X-ray room as well as a room for storing the X-ray files. A patient lounge, receptionist area and two offices – one for Dr. Betteron, another for Dr. Scott Barron, who recently joined the practice – are also included.

Architect John Winkel, who designed the nearby Blessed Hope Church building, worked with Matt and Jodie Betterton to create the new building.

The After 5 event took place at the U.S. Bank Community Building because there is not enough room for such a gathering at Betteron’s current building.
