Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through 
Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for 
individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse 
(regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals 
who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for 
their meal. Carryout meals are available. Please call us 
to cancel or order a Home Delivered Meal by 10:00 AM 
daily! We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and 
Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is 
$3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have 
nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery 
is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for 
more information about services or to reserve a table for 
groups of 3 or more.

FREE SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM AVAILABLE DAILY FOR EVERYONE WHO 
EATS A MEAL AT THE SITE DURING MEAL SERVICE TIMES.

The meal on Sunday, March 6th will be Roast Turkey, Mashed 
Potatoes/Gravy, Broccoli, Mixed Green Salad, Blushing 
Pears, Frosted White Cake, WW Bread, Milk.

On Monday, January 17th, the activity of the day was a 
Pepper Card Party with 2 tables of players. Ron Dawson 
won 1st place with 236 points. Art Corbett won 2nd place 
with 169 points. Third place went to Joy Baker with 264 
points. After the games, refreshments were provided by 
the Card Club and HACAP provided the beverages.

On Wednesday, January 19th, the activity of the day was 
10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Dora Vogt 
with the volunteer caller being Wendy Pennington. Game 
one was the letter “X” with Elsie Knaack winning. Game 
two was 9 Numbers with June Salerno and Elsie Knaack 
winning. Game three was a Large Picture Frame with Elsie 
Knaack as the winner. Game four was a Plus Sign with Dora 
Vogt winning. Dora Vogt and June Salerno won game five 
with blackout.

On Thursday, January 20th, the activity of the day was 
10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Ruth Wieditz 
and the volunteer caller was Vicki Holst. Game one was 
Stairsteps with Elsie Knaack winning. Game two was Frame 
the Free Space with Four Corners and Delane Kalina was the 
winner. Game three was a 9-Pack with JoAnn Roster 
winning. Game four was Wild Number with 3 Bingos and 
JoAnn Roster was the winner. June Salerno and Norma Ellis 
won game five with blackout.

On Friday, January 21st, the activity was a 500 card 
party. After the games, HACAP furnished beverages and 
other refreshments were provided by the card club.

On Monday, January 24th, the activity of the day was a 
Pepper Card Party with 5 tables of players. First place 
went to Clete Friedman with 261 points. Don Selken won 
2nd place with 233 points. Third place went to Art 
Corbett with 219 points. After the games, refreshments 
were provided by the card club and beverages provided by 
HACAP.

On Tuesday, January 25th, we enjoyed the music provided by 
Bob Hauser and Harold O’Dean.

On Wednesday, January 26th, we played 10-Cent Bingo. The 
games were handpicked by June Salerno and the volunteer 
caller was Wendy Pennington. Game one was a 9 Pack with 
Ruth Wieditz winning. Game two was the Letter “X” with 
Evelyn Greenwood and Delane Kalina winning. Game three 
was 3 Lines from B, N, O with Geraldine Healy winning. 
Game four was Ourside Picture Frame with Clete Friedman 
winning. Evelyn Greenwood won with blackout on game five.

On Thursday, January 27th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo. 
Faye Goodell handpicked the games and Vickie Holst was 
the volunteer caller. Game one was 4 Postage Stamps and 
Ruth Wieditz was the winner. Game two was a Large Picture 
Frame with Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game three was a 
9-Pack with Jeanette Blazicek winning.

On Friday, January 28th, the activity of the day was a 500 
Card Party with 6 tables of players. Frances Kelly won 
1st place with 3,580 points. Don Selken won 2nd place 
with 3,160 points. Leroy Wieser won 3rd place with 2.930 
points. After the games, refreshments were provided by 
the Card Club. Don Selken brought treats to share and 
beverages were provided by HACAP.
