Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through 

Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet. Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for  individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse  (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals  who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for  their meal. Carryout meals are available. Please call us  to cancel or order a Home Delivered Meal by 10:00 AM  daily! We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and  Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is  $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have  nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery  is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for  more information about services or to reserve a table for  groups of 3 or more. Attn: When planning for the monthly birthday meals, you  are strongly encouraged to reserve your seats for the  birthday tables. All seats must be reserved by 10 AM on  the day of the birthday dinner.

EATS A MEAL AT THE SITE DURING MEAL SERVICE TIMES. The meal on Sunday, March 13th will be Baked Chicken,  Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Corn, Mandarin Oranges, Frosted  Cake, WW Bread, Milk. On Monday, January 31st, we welcomed the Urbana Card Club  as our guests. The activity of the day was a Pepper Card  with 4 tables of players. Leroy Weiser won 1st place with  289 points. Don Selken won 2nd place with 280 points.  Merle Roths and Irene Geiger tied for 3rd place with 279  points. After the games, refreshments were provided by  the card club and beverages provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, February 1st, the activity was Surprise Bingo 

with Delane Kalina handpicking the games. The volunteer  caller was Tammie Brown. Game one was a 9-pack and Ruth  Wieditz won a pot holder doll. Game two was Wild Number 3  Bingos and Clete Friedman won a meal ticket. Game three  was the Letter “T” and Delane Kalina won a pillowcase.  Game four was 4 Corners Frame the Free Spot and JoAnn  Roster won a defogger. June Salerno won a heart box on  game five with blackout. On Thursday, February 3rd, Barb Riggle provided the  musical entertainment for the day.

On Friday, February 4th, the activity was a 500 card party 

with 6 tables of players. First place was a tie between  Geri Shaffer and Don Selken with 3,780 points. Second  place went to Esther Novotny with 2,850 points. Merle  Roths took third place with 2,530 points. After the  games, HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments  were provided by the card club. On Monday, February 7th, the activity of the day was a  Pepper Card Party with 4 tables of players. First place  went to Joy Baker with 300 points. Marv Witt won 2nd  place with 249 points. Third place went to Don Burmeister  with 241 points. After the games, refreshments were  provided by the card club. Bernadine Barr brought  brownies to share and beverages provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, February 8th, we enjoyed celebrating all the 

February birthdays. Those celebrating birthdays were  Betty Grimm, Judy Noeller, Jackie Behoune, Clete Friedman,  Alice Gille, Marvin Witt, Joe Healy, and Leta Mae Christy.  In total there were 3 birthday tables with a total of 31  attending, including guests. Joe Healy was the winner of  the free meal. The musical entertainment was provided by  Stuart Gulick.

On Wednesday, February 9th, we played 10-Cent Bingo. The 

games were handpicked by Marion Isabell and the volunteer  caller was Wendy Pennington. Game one was Four Corners  Frame the Free Spot with Dora Vogt winning. Game two was  Stair Steps with Dora Vogt winning. Game three was a  Telephone Pole with JoAnn Roster winning. Game four was a  9-Pack with JoAnn Roster winning. Delane Kalina won with  blackout on game five.

On Thursday, February 10th, the activity was 10-Cent 

Bingo. JoAnn Roster handpicked the games and Vickie Holst  was the volunteer caller. Game one was Plus Sign and  Delane Kalina was the winner. Game two was the Letter “I”  with Faye Goodell winning. Game three was the Letter “W”  with Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game four was Wild Number  3 Bingos with Ruth Wieditz winning. JoAnn Roster won game  five with blackout. On Friday, February 11th, we appreciated the music Eldred  provided for us! The activity of the day was a 500 Card  Party. After the games, refreshments were provided by the  Card Club.
