A choice of salads is available on the buffet. Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Attn: When planning for the monthly birthday meals, you are strongly encouraged to reserve your seats for the birthday tables. All seats must be reserved by 10 AM on the day of the birthday dinner. On Monday, March 28th, we welcomed the Urbana Card Club as our guests. There were 4 tables of Pepper Cards played. Don Selken won 1st place with 291 points. Clete Friedman won 2nd place with 278 points. Evelyn Greenwood won 3rd place with 252 points. Refreshments were provided by the card club and beverages were provided by HACAP. On Tuesday, March 29th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by June Salerno and the volunteer caller was Evelyn Greenwood. Game one was the Letter “X” and was won by Dora Vogt. Game two was an Outside Picture Frame and was won by Jeanette Blazicek. Game three was a Flag with Greta Geiken winning. Game four was All Around the Free Spot with Faye Goodell won. June Salerno and JoAnn Roster won game five with blackout. On Wednesday, March 30th, Larry Holst provided the musical entertainment for the afternoon. On Thursday, March 31st, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. JoAnn Roster handpicked the games and Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Game one was the Letter “T” with Faye Goodell winning. Game two was the Letter “M” with Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game three was Wild Number 3 Bingos with Jeanette Blazicek and Ruth Wieditz winning. Game four was the Letter “I” with Faye Goodell winning. Ron Dawson won game five with blackout. Friday, April 1st, there were 5 tables of 500 played. Don Selken won 1st place with 3,450 points. Joy Baker tied for 2nd place with Glenn Kester at 2,930 points. Evelyn Greenwood brought sandwiches to share. Other refreshments were provided by the card club. HACAP provided the beverages. On Monday, April 4th, there were 4 tables of pepper cards played. Bernadine Barr won 1st place with 248 points. Elsie Henkle and Irene Geiger tied for 2nd place with 238 points. After the games, refreshments were served by the card club and beverages were provided by HACAP. On Tuesday, April 5th, the activity was Surprise Bingo. Delane Kalina handpicked the games and Norma Ellis was the volunteer caller. Game one was a 9-Pack with JoAnn Roster winning a photo album. Game two was a Baseball with June Salerno winning a meal ticket. Game three was a Stairstep with Elsie Knaack winning cards and lotion. Game four was Four Corners and Frame the Free Spot with Marion Isabell winning a pail – M Mix. Geraldine Healy won a book mark and pin on game five with blackout. On Wednesday, April 6th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Mae Wilhelmi handpicked the games and Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Game one was 2 Hard Way Bingos with Marion Isabell and Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with Evelyn Greenwood winning. Game three was Wild Number 3 Bingos with Elsie Knaack, Marion Isabell, and Faye Goodell winning. Game four was a Small Picture Frame with Four Corners and Geri Shaffer and Faye Goodell won. Marion Isabell won game five with blackout. On Thursday, April 7th, Barb Riggle provided the afternoon musical entertainment. On Friday, April 8th, there were 5 tables of 500 played. Don Burmeister won 1st place with 3,320 points. Merle Roths won 2nd place with 3,120 points. Don Selken won 3rd place with 2,990 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by Card Club.
