Bloomsbury Farms in Atkins will celebrate its 30th anniversary this year. As always, the corn maze design has special meaning to the family and reflects the farms 30 years.
Each year the design is unique and this year it honors the farm itself.
The maze covers 10 acres, and it is estimated that it takes 45 minutes to maneuver through the whole thing.
The owner and manager of the farm, Sammy Petersen, said that her mom was the entrepreneur in the family and came up with the idea to start the business. The first group to visit the farm was Sammy's first-grade class. Her mom figured that if her class enjoyed the field trip to the farm, Why wouldn’t everybody else?" and the dream took off.
You can stop out to go through the maze from September 12 until October 26. Follow their Facebook page HERE for upcoming events!
