Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through
Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for
individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse
(regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals
who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for
their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver
meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn.
The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or
older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid
supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County.

services or to reserve a table for groups of 3 or more.

Attn: When planning for the monthly birthday meals, you
are strongly encouraged to reserve your seats for the
birthday tables. All seats must be reserved by 10 AM on
the day of the birthday dinner.

FREE SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM AVAILABLE DAILY FOR EVERYONE WHO
EATS A MEAL AT THE SITE DURING MEAL SERVICE TIMES.

The meal on Sunday, December 18th will be Roast Pork,
Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Spinach, Peaches, Custard, WW
Bread, Milk.

On Monday, November 7th, the afternoon activity was a
Pepper Card Party with 4 tables of players. Merle Roths
won 1st place with 335 points. Frances Kelly won 2nd
place with 284 points. Mary Rogers won 3rd place with
274 points. After cards, refreshments were served by the
card club and HACAP provided the beverages.

On Tuesday, November 8th, we celebrated all the November
birthdays. Those celebrating were Judy Lindsey, Frances
Kelly, Earl Rinderknecht, Florence Rippel, Helen Purdey,
and John Pohlmann. We welcomed eight guests and well as
13 guests from the Vinton Legion Auxiliary. Stuart
Gulick provided the afternoon musical entertainment.

On Wednesday, November 9th, the afternoon activity was
10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Delane Kalina
and Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Game one
was 9-Pack with Norma Ellis winning. Game two was Wild
Number 3 Bingos with Greta Geiken winning. Game three was
a Baseball with Faye Goodell winning. Game four was 3
Bingos and No Free Space with Ruth Wieditz winning. Greta
Geiken was the winner on game five with blackout.

On Thursday, November 10th, we welcomed the Sunny Side of
60 as our guests. The afternoon activity was 10-Cent
Bingo. The games were handpicked by the Sunny Side of 60
Group and Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one
was the Letter “Z” with Geri Shaffer as the winner. Game
two was the Letter “Y” with Geri Shaffer winning. Game
three was a Picnic Table with Faye Goodell winning. Game
four was a 9-Pack with Greta Geiken and Joe Healy winning.
Bill Davis won game five with blackout.

Friday, November 11th, there were 5 tables of 500 played.
Milt Smith won 1st place with 3,610 points. Marge Smith
won 2nd place with 2,900 points. Leroy Weiser won 3rd
place with 2,840 points. After the games, refreshments
were provided by the card club. HACAP provided the
beverages.

On Monday, November 14th, there were 4 tables of Pepper
Cards played. Geri Shaffer won 1st place with 267 points.
LaVonne Henkle won 2nd place with 252points. Dixie Lee
Joens won 3rd place with 237 points. After the games,
Frances Kelly brought a cake to share in honor of her
birthday. Other refreshments were provided by Card Club.
Beverages were provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, November 15th, the afternoon activity was
10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by June Salerno.
Maureen Heisman was the volunteer caller. Game one was an
Outside Picture Frame with Faye Goodell and Dora Vogt
winning. Game two was the Letter “X” with Greta Geiken
winning. Game three was Around the Free Space with Dora
Vogt winning. Game four was 3 Bingos with Elsie Knaack
winning. June Salerno won game five with blackout.

On Wednesday, November 16th, Larry Holst provided the
afternoon musical entertainment.

On Thursday, November 17th, we celebrated with our annual
Thanksgiving Dinner.

On Friday, November 18th, five tables of 500 were played.
Greta Geiken won 1st place with 3,840 points. Therese
Weiser won 2nd place with 3,290 points. Milo Cobb won
3rd place with 3,680 points. After the games, Leroy
Weiser shared ice cream bars for his birthday. Other
refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages were
provided by HACAP.
