Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for more information about services or to reserve a table for groups of 3 or more.

Attn: When planning for the monthly birthday meals, you are strongly encouraged to reserve your seats for the birthday tables. All seats must be reserved by 10 AM on the day of the birthday dinner.

The meal on Sunday, January 29th will be Roast Pork, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Spinach, Peaches, Custard, WW Bread, Milk.

On Monday, December 19th, the afternoon activity was a Pepper Card Party with 4 tables of players. Hazel Eastwood won 1st place with 284 points. Dixie Joens won 2nd place with 264 points. Leroy Weiser won 3rd place with 258 points. After cards, Hazel brought a plate of goodies to share. Refreshments were served by the card club and HACAP provided the beverages.

On Tuesday, December 20th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by JoAnn Roster and the volunteer caller was Maureen Hausman. Game one was the Letter “W” and Faye Goodell and JoAnn Roster were the winners. Game two was the Letter “L” and George Eckhart was the winner. Game three was Wild Number Three Bingos with Clete Friedman as the winner. Game four was a Layer Cake with JoAnn Roster winning. Marion Isabell won game five with Blackout.

On Wednesday, December 21st was the annual Christmas Dinner. Judy Mehlert provided the afternoon musical entertainment.

On Thursday, December 22nd, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. June Salerno handpicked the games and Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was a Flag with

Elsie Knaack winning. Game two was Stairsteps with Frances Kelly winning. Game three was Wild Number Three Bingos with Greta Geiken winning. Game four was a 9-Pack with Phyllis Ebert winning. Hazel Eastwood won game five with Blackout.

On Tuesday, December 27th, Bob Hauser provided the afternoon musical entertainment.

On Wednesday, December 28th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Ruth Wieditz. Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Game one was Around the Free Space and Four Corners with Frances Kelly as the winner. Game two was Four Postage Stamps with Phyllis Ebert winning. Game three was a 9-Pack with JoAnn Roster winning. Game four was Wild Number Three Bingos with Greta Geiken winning. Cole Hoyt won game five with Blackout.

On Thursday, December 29th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked Norma Ellis and Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was a 9-Pack with Faye Goodell winning. Game two was the Letter “Z” with Faye Goodell winning. Game three was Frame the Free Spot and Four Corners with Faye Goodell winning. Game four was Wild Number with Greta Geiken winning. Dale Anderson won game five with Blackout.

On Friday, December 30th, five tables of 500 were played. Leroy Weiser won 1st place with 3,450 points. Greta Geiken won 2nd place with 3,370 points. Bill Milne won 3rd place with 2,830 points. After the games, Joy Baker brought cake and ice cream in honor of her 91st birthday. Other refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, January 3rd, the afternoon activity was Surprise Bingo. Maureen Hausman was the volunteer caller and June Salerno handpicked the games. Game one was the Letter “X” with the winner getting tuna helper. Game two was a 9-Pack with Hazel Eastwood winning a record. Game three was Wild Number Three Bingos with Marion Isabell winning a hand towel. Game four was Around the Free Spot with Clete Friedman winning a meal ticket. Geraldine Healy won Cheesy Skillet on game five with Blackout.

On Wednesday, January 4th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Maureen Hausman was the volunteer caller and Elsie Knaack handpicked the games. Game one was Stairsteps with Elsie Knaack winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with Faye Goodell and June Salerno winning. Game three was a Layer Cake with Norma Ellis winning. Game four was the Letter “I” for Iowa with June Salerno winning. Greta Geiken won game five with Blackout.

On Thursday, January 5th, the afternoon musical entertainment was provided by Barb Riggle on piano.

On Friday, January 6th, there were 6 tables of 500 Cards played. Leroy Weiser won 1st place with 3,350 points. Wilma Loutsch and Don Selken tied for 2nd place with 3,150 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.
