Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Each month the 4th St Diner has a special day set aside to celebrate birthdays for that month. It is always scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone having a birthday for that particular month is encouraged to make a reservation for themselves and any guests they would like to celebrate with. The names of all birthday celebrants who have made a reservation for the Birthday Table are entered into the door prize drawing. We currently have two door prizes scheduled for each month. The first is $5 in Vinton Unlimited Value Dollars generously donated by Vinton Unlimited. The second is a gift certificate for a free 4th Street Diner meal. Reservations for the Birthday Dinner table can be made by calling 472-4761. Reservations need to be made by 10:00 AM on the day of the celebration.

The meal on Sunday, February 26th will be Roast Turkey, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Broccoli, Mixed Green Salad, Blushing Pears, Cake, WW Bread, Milk.

On Monday, January 23rd, the afternoon activity was a Pepper Card. After cards, refreshments were served by the card club and HACAP provided the beverages.

On Tuesday, January 24th, Bob Hauser provided the afternoon entertainment.

On Wednesday, January 25th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller and Norma Ellis handpicked the games. Game one was a Flag with Clete Friedman winning. Game two was a 9-Pack. Game three was Wild Number. Game four was an Outside Picture Frame with Elsie Knaack winning. June Salerno won game five with Blackout.

On Thursday, January 26th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. The games were handpicked by June Salerno. Game one was a Flag with Hazel Eastwood and George Eckhart winning. Game two was the Letter “X” with Elsie Knaack winning. Game three was Wild Number Three Bingos with June Salerno winning. Game four was a 9-Pack with Geraldine Healy and JoAnn Roster winning. JoAnn Roster won game five with Blackout.

On Friday, January 27th, the afternoon activity was a 500 Card Party. There were 5tables of players. Bernadine Barr won 1st place with 3,130 points. Geri Schaffer and Hazel Eastwood tied for 2nd place with 2,770 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club and beverages were provided by HACAP.

On Monday, January 30th, the afternoon activity was a Pepper Card Party with 5 tables of players. Geri Schaffer won 1st place with 267 points. Lois Rommann won 2nd place with 256 points. Third place went to Annie Hopkins with 253 points. After the games, Annie Hopkins brought treats to share. Other refreshments were provided by the Card Club and beverages were provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, January 31st, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Maureen Haismann was the volunteer caller and the games were handpicked by Faye Goodell. Game one was a Diamond with Faye Goodell winning. Game two was a Telephone Pole with Dora Vogt winning. Game three was a 9-Pack with June Salerno winning. Game four was Stair Steps with George Eckhart winning. Joe Healy won game five with Blackout.

On Wednesday, February 1st, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Jeanette Blazicek. Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Game one was a Postage Stamp with June Salerno as the winner. Game two was Wild Number Three Bingos with George Eckhart winning. Game three was a 9-Pack with Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game four was a Layer Cake with Clete Friedman winning. Norma Ellis won game five with Blackout.

On Thursday, February 2nd, Barb Riggle provided the afternoon musical entertainment.

On Friday, February 3rd, there were 6 tables of 500 played. Therese Weiser won 1st place with 3,210 points. Geri Schaffer won 2nd place with 3,090 points. Third place went to Clete Friedman with 3,040 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.
