Heritage Clubs International, llc (HCI) is pleased to announce that Sue Hammond of Farmers Savings Bank & Trust (Vinton, IA) has been elected for a three-year term to the Advisory Board. Elected advisors were announced at the annual Peer Group conference held most recently March 21-25, 2012in Rogers, AR. HCI is an Association of Bank Clubs and the premier bank marketing organization in North America.

As a member of the Heritage Clubs Advisory Board, Hammond, FSB Heritage Club Director, will be part of providing leadership for the annual meeting of bank club directors and year-round advocacy for their peers. Advisory Board members are elected by their peers, who lead bank clubs for individual community banks across 33 states. The nine members are well experienced club directors who have earned the confidence of the broad membership in this important market segment of the commercial banking system.

“Heritage Clubs is a network of peers in the bank club industry and I look forward to serving as a leader to this network,” Hammondsaid. “It is an honor to be recognized by my peers for my successes and elected to share my experiences with our membership.”

Hammondis the Heritage Club Director with 5 ½ years of banking experience in marketing, investments and customer service. She is involved in her community as a member of the Cottage Garden Club, PEO Chapter HG, Head of 2012 Post Prom Food Committee, Lector at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and is now helping to promote Group Travel for Vinton Unlimited. In her spare time, Hammond enjoys spending time with her daughters – Natalie and Olivia Ketchen, her husband – Lee Hammond and children of Batavia, Illinois, her Boston Terrier-Dolly & Grand dog-Fifi, her parents – Bill and Judy Travis, and her sister Pam (Rick) Primmer of Vinton.
