Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through 
Friday.  A choice of salads is available on the buffet.
 
Everyone is WELCOME!  Suggested contribution for 
individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse 
(regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal.  Individuals 
who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for 
their meal.  Carryout meals are available.  We deliver 
meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. 
 The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or 
older.  We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid 
supplements.  Delivery is throughout Benton County.

services or to reserve a table for groups of 3c or more.
 
Each month the 4th St Diner has a special day set aside to 
celebrate birthdays for that month.  It is always 
scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month.  Anyone 
having a birthday for that particular month is encouraged 
to make a reservation for themselves and any guests they 
would like to celebrate with.  The names of all birthday 
celebrants who have made a reservation for the Birthday 
Table are entered into the door prize drawing.  We 
currently have two door prizes scheduled for each month. 
 The first is $5 in Vinton Unlimited Value Dollars 
generously donated by Vinton Unlimited.  The second is a 
gift certificate for a free 4th Street Diner meal. 
 Reservations for the Birthday Dinner table can be made by 
calling 472-4761.  Reservations need to be made by 10:00 
AM on the day of the celebration.

The 4th Street Diner meal on Sunday, November 18th, Swiss 
Steak, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Carrots, Peaches, Cake, WW 
Bread, Milk.
 
On Monday, October 8th, the activity of the day was a 
Pepper Card Party.  There were four tables of players. 
 Clete Friedman won 1st place with 250 points.  Geri 
Shaffer won 2nd place with 249 points.  Third place went 
to Gary Bearbower with 225 points.  After the games, 
refreshments were provided by Card Club.  Beverages were 
provided by HACAP.
 
On Tuesday, October 9th, we celebrated all the October 
birthdays.  Don Dill won the $5 in Vinton Value Dollars. 
 Dale Anderson won a free meal gift certificate.  Stuart 
Gulick provided the afternoon musical entertainment.
 
On Wednesday, October 10th, the afternoon activity was 
10-Cent Bingo.  Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. 
 Mae Wilhelmi handpicked the games.  Game one was the 
Letter “T” with George Eckhart winning.  Game two was a 
9-Pack with Hazel Eastwood winning.  Game three was the 
Letter “Y” with Hazel Eastwood winning.  Game four was 
Wild Number Three Bingos with Elsie Knaack winning.  Elsie 
Knaack won game five with Blackout.
 
On Thursday, October 11th, we welcomed the Brandon Sunny 
Side of 60 Group as our guests.  The afternoon activity 
was 10-Cent Bingo.  Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. 
 The Sunny Side of 60 Group handpicked the games.  Game 
one was the Letter “X” with George Eckhart winning.  Game 
two was a Large Picture Frame with Greta Geiken, Clete 
Friedman, and Faye Goodell winning.  Game three was a Flag 
with Faye Goodell and Virginia Schnepf winning.  Game four 
was Four Corners with Hazel Eastwood winning.  Darlys 
Rogers won game five with a Blackout.
 
On Friday, October 12th, there were 5 tables of 500 
played.  Bud Barr won 1st place with 2,740 points. 
 Frances Kelly won 2nd place with 2,660 points.  Clete 
Friedman won 3rd place with 2,530 points.  After the 
games, refreshments were provided by Card Club.  Beverages 
were provided by HACAP.
 
On Monday, October 15th, we welcomed Jim and JoAnn Roths 
as guests of Merle and Evelyn Roths.  There were 4 tables 
of Pepper Cards played.  Bill Milne won 1st place with 291 
points.  Leroy Weiser won 2nd place with 263 points. 
 Greta Geiken won 3rd place with 234 points.  After the 
games, Leroy brought a cake to share.  Other refreshments 
were provided by Card Club.  Beverages were provided by 
HACAP.
 
On Tuesday, October 16th, the afternoon activity was 
10-Cent Bingo.  Maureen Haisman was the volunteer caller. 
 Evelyn Greenwood handpicked the games.  Game one was a 
9-Pack with Marion Isbell winning.  Game two was Wild 
Number Three Bingos with Clete Friedman winning.  Game 
three was a Flay with Faye Goodell winning.  Game four was 
Four Corners and Frame the Free Spot with Hazel Eastwood 
winning.  Hazel Eastwood won on game five with Blackout.
 
On Wednesday, October 17th, the afternoon entertainment 
was provided by Judy Mehlert music.
 
On Thursday, October 18th, the afternoon activity was 
10-Cent Bingo.  Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. 
 The games were handpicked by Faye Goodell.  Game one was 
a 9-Pack with JoAnn Roster winning.  Game two was Four 
Corners and Frame the Free Spot with JoAnn Roster winning. 
 Game three was Wild Number Three Bingos with Faye Goodell 
winning.  Game four was the Letter “Z” with Geri Shaffer 
winning.  Faye Goodell won game five with a blackout.
 
On Friday, October 19th, the afternoon activity was a 500 
Card Party with 5 tables of players.  Don Selken won 1st 
place with 3,440 points.  Evelyn Greenwood won 2nd place 
with 2,720 points.  Margaret Fuehrer won 3rd place with 
2,620 points.  After the games, refreshments were provided 
by Card Club.  Beverages were provided by HACAP.
