This one’s for the birds. And the kids! “Free Birds” opens Friday, November 22 through Wednesday, November 27 at 7 pm every night, 4 pm Saturday and Sunday, and 2 pm Monday. Please note – WE WILL BE CLOSED ON THANKSGIVING.

This 3D holiday animated adventure features the comedic vocal talents of Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson, and Amy Poehler. Two time traveling turkeys from opposite sides of the tracks must put aside their differences to change the course of history - and get turkey off the Thanksgiving menu for good.

How nice that Hollywood decided to mark (exploit?) the Thanksgiving holiday. In the film world, like retail, we usually move skip this celebration of family and feathers and move right on to Christmas.

Kids were laughing every minute at these birds and adults will appreciate the select moments of grown up humor.

There are some good gags, the cast is incredibly likable and, most importantly, it held my kids' attention the entire time.

Bring on the turkey and treat trays!
