"Interstellar" is still an impressive, at times astonishing movie that overwhelmed me… ~ Matt Zoller Seitz
(Seitz later compares the plot of this sci-fi film to Iowa’s “Field of Dreams.”)
A remarkable achievement in filmmaking that will have you on the edge of your seat ~ MediaMikes
The pace is gripping, the central performances compelling and the action sequences thrilling. ~Sky Movies
This epic drama about astronauts traveling to the end of the galaxy to find a new home to replace our ruined Earth is powerfully delivered. McConaughey is at the top of his game on the edge of the universe. Rated PG-13 for language and running an impressive 169 minutes, this is probably another time you’ll want to enlist a sitter.
Due to the almost three hour time frame, I’m considering finding a good place to hit the pause button and adding a 5-minute intermission mid-film. Feedback?
