State Treasurer Michael L. Fitzgerald announced today that the Iowa income tax deduction has once again been raised for those saving with College Savings Iowa.

Chris Cantrell, right continues jogging towards his 100-mile goal today. He was accompanied for a while by Linn Co. Sheriff Brian Gardner. An area man who has participated in several area 5K events is currently in the middle of a two-day, 100 mile treadmill challenge to raise money for to fight Alzheimer's.
