Maybe you have heard about Make a Difference Day (MADD) and are wondering what it is all about. MADD is celebrated each year on the 4th Saturday in October. Created by USA WEEKEND Magazine, it is the nation’s largest day of volunteering, thanks to the passion of millions of people.

NCCC Team Hits Home in Henryville

NCCC team, Maple 5, arrived in Henryville six months after the March 2 tornado swept through the small town and destroyed hundreds of houses and shook up the community.
Upon arriving, the team took notice of the still fallen trees on the hillside adjacent from the newly rebuilt high school near the Twin Oaks Subdivision where the team would work with Habitat for Humanity to build 10 new houses.

Students Awarded Scholarships from Iowa State University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University recently recognized its scholarship recipients for the current academic year, 2012-2013.
The college and its departments award more than $2 million in scholarships each year.
