3-person Best Shot Tournament!

Thanks to everyone who came out and played in the VU golf tournament this year and thanks especially to our 2013 Hole & prize sponsors! We couldn't have put on such a great tournament without each of you!

As most of you know, we had a few new "twists" to the tournament this year with a "Pick-a-Putt" tournament AND a poker run throughout the course. We gave them a shot this year and we'd like your feedback. Did you like them and would you like to see them again next year? Please send me an email with some feedback and maybe we'll see these games again next year.

Congrats to the winners and I hope everyone had a good time no matter if you won money or not. Please note, all prizes were given inVinton Value Dollars in order to keep the prize money spent locally and to support the local businesses who support Vinton Unlimited so much! This is unique to the VU tournament and I hope you find it to be a nice way to support our local business community. We paid out over $600 to players in the tournament and each dollar won will be put back into the local business community through Value Dollars.

Congratulations to Ervin Motor Company who won the "Crowd Pleaser Award" this year! Your name will be forever* immortalized on a plaque hanging in the Vinton Country Club and you will also receive $50 off of next years sponsorship fee! You did a great job with your "chip through the Window of a New Buick" game and the people showed their appreciation of your creativity with their vote for you!
