Today, we ask our questions to Stacey Kinney, the new VSMS librarian.
Q. Is there anything that your family asks you not to cook, ever again?
A Crock-pot scalloped potatoes
Q. Tell us about your favorite chair:
A. It's big, soft, and green--great for reading and rocking my kids to sleep.
Q. Best fast food sandwich ever?
A. Subway--during avocado season!
Q. What was your first job?
A. Video clerk-- VHS movie rentals inside my hometown's grocery store.
Q. If you were to get a traffic citation it would most likely be for….
A. Speeding!
Q. One place in the world you really, really wish you could visit?
A. Any beach in Europe.
Q. First pet you remember?
A. A hamster named Ginger.
Q. Who was your favorite teacher, and why?
A. 5th grade, Mrs. Lincecum. She loved teaching; it was very inspiring.
Q. What book or author you have not read, but should?
A. Harry Potter.
Q. Best TV show ever?
A. Modern Family
Q. What is your dream car?
A. Anything with lots of space and great gas mileage.

A. The past, present, and future walked into a room. It was tense. :)

Q. When and why did you decide to become a teacher?
A. I've always wanted to be a teacher. I remember setting up "classrooms" with my stuffed animals (and sometimes my little brothers, when they would cooperate) and giving them lessons on different things. I feel very lucky to be doing what I love.
