Et cetera : Wildcat event raises $4600 for Honor Flight

On Saturday, August 16, 2014, the Hawkeye Labor Council sponsored their second annual Golf Outing at the Wildcat Golf Course in Shellsburg. It was great weather and a fun event held for a good cause. The Eastern Iowa Honor Flight received a donation of $4600.00 from this outing. There was a great turnout with some 88 golfers participating. On behalf of the veterans we serve, the Board of Directors of the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight would like to thank Rick Moyle and the other members of the Hawkeye Labor Council, as well as all who participated for their generous donation which will support us in our mission. We would also like to thank the owners and staff at the Wildcat for their excellent support and service during the tournament.
