Et cetera : Megan Jorgensen among 2015 Wartburg graduates

Wartburg College awarded diplomas to 298 graduates at its Commencement ceremony May 24.

Megan Jorgensen of Vinton graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in history and peace & justice studies. She is the daughter of Patrick and Nancy Jorgensen and a 2011 graduate of Vinton-Shellsburg High School.

Another 41 students are expected to graduate in August. Thirty-six members of the Class of 2015 graduated in December.

Wartburg College is a selective liberal arts college of the Lutheran church (ELCA), nationally recognized for community engagement. This year's enrollment totaled 1,661 students from 27 U.S. states and 69 countries.
