Hometown: Lexington, Mass.
Stacey is serving as a member of the NCCC FEMA Corps team Hickory 1 at the Vinton Campus. She chose to participate in NCCC FEMA Corps because she wanted to do something worthwhile, help others, learn, and experience a life-changing 10 months.
Stacey graduated from Lexington High School in 2006 and Champlain College in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in professional writing. After her service term ends she hopes to seek a career in the social service sector or continue working in journalism.
Prior to joining NCCC FEMA Corps Stacey was a freelance journalist with ESPN Boston. She loves to write and is putting her skills to good use in NCCC as a media representative for her team.
